Tampa's Lowry Park Zoo offers animals that can come out to your facility. Programming can take place indoors or outdoors for large or small audiences.

ADULT VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNTIES
AT TAMPA'S LOWRY PARK ZOO
Volunteers provide valuable assistance in almost every area of the Zoo's operations. These committed individuals donate over 40,000 hours a year in a variety of capacities.
TEACHER CONTINUING EDUCATION CLASSES
Tampa's Lowry Park Zoo offers continuing education classes to give tips hands on environmental education experiences in the classroom as well as enhancing your field trip experience.
ADULT TRAVEL PROGRAM
The Zoo provides educational trips each year regionally, nationally and internationally.

IN ZOO TOURS
Tampa's Lowry Park Zoo offers a tour for adults that consist of Behind the Scenes information specific to our animals. Scheduling must be made in advance by calling 813-935-8552

Adult Hands on Experiences
Come see what your kids are talking about! Join our new Adult Continuing Education Classes that give you a chance to get up close and personal with our animals- just like your kids get at our camps! Each class includes an hour long learning session, lunch and a hands-on animal experience that you won’t forget!
Program Information:
- Ages: 18 and up
- Cost: Zoo Pass Holders $50 / Non-Zoo Pass Holders $60
- Time: 8:00 a.m.- 12:30 p.m.
- Pre-registration is required no later than 2 weeks prior
Zoo Keeping 101
Sat., March 14
Learn about the Zoo’s exotic animal collection and work side by side with our keepers. This class will get you knee deep in... animal information!
Animal Handling and Presentation
Sat., April 25
Learn about why conservation and saving animals is so important to people and the planet. Then put your knowledge to the test and educate our Zoo guests while handling some of our animal ambassadors- from owls to alligators and everything in between.
Equestrian Class
Sat., May 23
Learn the “how to” when it comes to horse basics. This is a hands-on, horse-feeding, stall-mucking, hair-brushing, horse-riding camp which spends the entire day outdoors.
