Zoo School Summer Camp 7 Days of Savings Sale
March 21-27 • ONLINE ONLY 

Take advantage of an early bird sale on summer camp programs for students who have completed K-8th grades. Register online and save 20 percent on more than 100 week-long awesome adventure camps.

Orangutan Egg Hunt

Watch the Zoo’s Bornean orangutan family have some Easter fun with their own egg hunt, an annual treat for the primates and zoo guests.

Party for the Planet (Enrichment Day/Earth Day)
Saturday, April 18 • 9:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Celebrate the living Earth at the Zoo with a day of family fun and discovery.  Learn new ways to connect to the environment and make a difference in conservation by spending the day with the animals who share our planet.  Enjoy a wide variety of animal enrichment activities, educational displays and exhibits throughout the Zoo. 

Enrichment Day activities are included with Zoo admission.

NEW! Senior Safari Fun Fest
Tuesday, April 21 • 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Join us for the Lifestyles After 50 Senior Safari and Fun Fest at the Zoo! Seniors (ages 50+) will receive $10 admission* (reg. senior price is $25.95), and that includes the Fun Fest AND admission to the Zoo. Enjoy $6 Safari Lunch Specials, and free coffee will also be available. The Senior Safari will also feature animal encounters, free health screenings, free bingo and a chance to win great prizes! Plus, enjoy a preview of Zoominations entertainment by Chinese performers, just for Senior Safari guests!

*$10 admission special is only valid on 4/21/15 for those adults ages 50 plus. Additional guests who are under 50 years of age will need to purchase full-priced Zoo admission to enter. The Zoominations Chinese Lantern Festival is not included in this special offer.

Día Del Niño (Day of the Child)

¡Vamos al zoológico! -- Let’s go to the Zoo!  Join the Zoo for the 5th annual cultural festival Día del Niño, or Day of the Child, featuring character appearances by both “Dora the Explorer” and “Go Diego Go” from Nick Jr.™  Día del Niño is observed in many Latin American countries as a day to celebrate childhood. The Zoo’s event features a variety of family activities and entertainment including character appearances, music and on-air personalities from Univision Tampa, La Maxima, piñata enrichments for Zoo animals, bilingual narrators and signs, and a variety of vendors. 

This event is included with daytime Zoo admission and is free for Annual Zoo Pass members.

Charity Golf Classic at Carrollwood Country Club
Monday, May 4 • 10:30 a.m. Check-in & lunch, 12 p.m. Shotgun Start

Take to the course for a cause and join the Zoo for the Charity Golf Classic. The outing features a shotgun start, contests on the course, live auction, raffle drawings, and an awards dinner and banquet. Sponsorship opportunities are available.

Mother’s Day Weekend (BOGO)
May 9-10 • 9:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Moms matter at the Zoo! Bring mom on Mother’s Day weekend and she gets in for free!  On Saturday, May 9 or Sunday, May 10, moms receive free admission with the purchase of their son’s or daughter’s full-priced admission ticket (paid ticket can be child or adult admission, as applicable). For moms to receive free ticket offer, the paid ticket must be purchased on May 9 or 10 only. Offer not combinable with other discounts.


Memorial Day Military Appreciation
Monday, May 25 • 9:30 a.m. -5 p.m.

In honor of Memorial Day, members of the military (active-duty, retirees and veterans) and up to three direct dependents are invited to visit the Zoo for free on May 25. The military member will need to show a valid military photo ID at the Zoo’s ticket windows. Dependents may take advantage of the offer without their service member, though an adult with a valid military I.D. must accompany minors. Not valid with any other discounts or offers. No rain checks.

Father’s Day Weekend (BOGO)
June 20-21 • 9:30 a.m.-5 p.m.

The Zoo is wild about dads – bring yours for free!  In honor of Father’s Day, dads receive free admission on Saturday, June 20 or Sunday, June 21 with the purchase of their son’s or daughter’s full-priced admission ticket (paid ticket can be child or adult admission, as applicable). Red, White & Zoo Holiday Weekend

Zoo Run Run 5K

Kids' Fun Run 9:15 a.m.

Join Tampa’s Lowry Park Zoo for the 13th annual Zoo Run Run, a 5K run that winds through the Zoo and along the scenic Hillsborough River. Children 11 & under can enter a special "Fun Run" which follows the 5K. Registration cost includes admission to the Zoo for the day for the entrant and race t-shirt, while supplies last. Walk-ups accepted the day of the run.

The first of its kind in the Southeastern U.S., a dazzling display of custom-made Chinese lantern structures is illuminating Tampa’s Lowry Park Zoo! Colossal by day and radiant after dark, guests can discover 30 spectacular scenes representing traditional Chinese dragons and folklore along with larger-than-life replicas of Zoo animals. Named one of the “10 Great Beer Festivals in the Country” by USA Today, this 20th annual all-inclusive tropical tasting event features 275 beers and beverages from around the world, food sampling from favorite restaurants and live music. Beat the heat with the Beastly Beverage Club (VIP-level ticket) in the Zoo’s the Safari Lodge -- the only air-conditioned space at WaZoo -- with early entry at 6:30 p.m. The Zoo will close at 2 p.m. on August 1 for set up of WaZoo, which takes place rain or shine. Come creep around ZooBoo at Tampa’s Lowry Park Zoo -- the largest family Halloween event in Tampa Bay. It’s a ghoulish good time for all. Don’t miss the thrills, chills and family frights with attractions ranging in “scare factor” including haunted houses, seasonal displays and lights, a specialty gift shop, night rides and more. Saturday, November 7 • 7-11 p.m.

For 29 years, the Zoo has served up one of the tastiest and “wildest” all-inclusive food festivals in the Bay area. Bring your biggest appetite to this fundraising feast, only at the Zoo. For one ticket price, guests can go on a sampling safari of the Bay area’s best restaurants, enjoy open bars, browse the “Art Safari” art auction, and groove to live music throughout the event. The VIP Rhino Club offers early entry and exclusive use of the beautiful Safari Lodge and outdoor plaza. The Zoo will close at 2 p.m. for set up of Zoofari, which takes place rain or shine.  Animals are not on exhibit during the event. Tickets will go on sale online in September. The Zoo transforms into a whimsical world of holiday magic with multiple nights of holiday delights.
