Día Del Niño (Day of the Child)
Sunday, April 27 • 9:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.

¡Vamos al zoológico! -- Let’s go to the Zoo!  Join the Zoo and “Dora the Explorer” and “Diego” from Nick Jr.™ for the 5th annual cultural festival Día del Niño, or Day of the Child, celebrated in Mexico and other Latin American countries on various days. This one day celebration features a variety of family activities and entertainment including live music from local Latin artists, bilingual talks and more. 

Activities are included with Zoo admission.

Charity Golf Classic at Old Memorial Golf Club
Monday, May 5 • 10:30 a.m. Check-in & lunch, 12 p.m. Start

Take to the course for a cause and join the Zoo for the Charity Golf Classic, at exclusive Old Memorial Golf Club, one of Golf Magazine’s top 100 U.S. courses. The outing features a shotgun start, contests on the course, live auction, raffle drawings, and an awards dinner and banquet. Sponsorship opportunities are available. Mother’s Day Weekend (BOGO)
May 10-11 • 9:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Moms matter at the Zoo! Bring mom to Tampa’s Lowry Park Zoo Mother’s Day weekend and she gets in for free!  On Saturday, May 10 or Sunday, May 11, moms receive free admission with the purchase of their son’s or daughter’s full-priced admission ticket (paid ticket can be child or adult admission, as applicable).  For moms to receive free ticket offer, the paid ticket must be purchased on May 10 or 11 only. Offer not combinable with other discounts.

Memorial Day Military Appreciation
Monday, May 26 • 9:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.

In honor of Memorial Day, military personnel (active-duty, retirees and veterans) receive free Zoo admission on that day. The military member will need to show a Department of Defense photo ID at the Zoo’s ticket windows. As many as three direct dependents of military personnel also are entitled to free admission. Dependents may take advantage of the offer without their service member, though an adult must accompany minors.

Saturday, June 7 9 a.m.–3 p.m. (or until merchandise is gone)
Zoo Pass Holders-Only Hour 8 a.m. –9 a.m.*

Don’t miss this unique opportunity to shop for an array of collectable and unique items. Browse through the Zoo’s assortment of seasonal and holiday décor from annual events like ZooBoo and Wild Wonderland. Shoppers will also have the opportunity to purchase retail fixtures, merchandising supplies and other items only available to the trade. Items may range from a few dollars to several hundred.

See event signage for specific limitations on selected items. No previews or early entry prior to the sale date, no exceptions.

Zoo admission is not required to enter the sale. Shoppers enter the sale in the gated event space to the west of the Zoo’s main entrance.

*Valid Annual Zoo Pass card required for each person to enter during the preview hour.

Father’s Day Weekend (BOGO)
June 14-15 • 9:30 a.m.-5 p.m.

The Zoo is wild about dads – bring yours for free!  In honor of Father’s Day, dads receive free admission on Saturday, June 14 or Sunday, June 15 with the purchase of their son’s or daughter’s full-priced admission ticket (son or daughter can be adult or child ages 3-11). For dads to receive free ticket offer, the son’s or daughter’s paid ticket must be purchased on June 14 or 15 only. Offer not combinable with other discounts.

Red, White & Zoo Holiday Weekend
July 4-6 • 9:30 a.m.-5 p.m.

In honor of Independence Day, military personnel (active-duty, retirees and veterans) and up to three direct dependents are invited to visit the Zoo for free on July 4-6, 2014.  The military member will need to show a Department of Defense photo ID at the Zoo’s ticket counter. Dependents may take advantage of the offer without their service member, though an adult with a valid military I.D. must accompany minors. Not valid with any other discounts or offers. No rain checks.

Saturday, July 5 • 11 a.m.- 2 p.m.

Grab your teddy bear and head to the Zoo for a “beary” good time! Enjoy special activities, keeper talks, and music and fun with Radio Disney Tampa Bay.

Pumpkin Toss
Friday, October 17 • 11a.m.

Watch the animals have some Halloween fun with their own pumpkin party, a seasonal treat for the animals and guests at the Zoo. See which animals stomp, chomp, kick, play and pounce on special seasonal treats! The pumpkin toss is part of the animal enrichment program at the Zoo and is included free-of-charge with Zoo admission.

Now - May 31

This limited engagement features a colony (or raft) of coastal sea lions along with daily shows. It’s a sea of fun for everyone! Guests are invited to learn about the variety of life along the coasts of Mexico, Central and South America, and conserving natural habitats for these charismatic creatures.

Just beyond the splash zone, there’s fun in the sun with giant inflatables (bounces and slides), a specialty gift shop, and pool party-inspired food and beverages.

Saturday, August 2
7:30 - 10:30 p.m.

Named one of the “10 Great Beer Festivals in the Country” by USA Today, this 19th annual tropical taste explosion features 275 beers and beverages from around the world, food sampling from favorite restaurants, and live music on multiple stages. Beat the heat with the “Beastly Beverage Club” (VIP-level ticket) in the Zoo’s the Safari Lodge -- the only air-conditioned space at WaZoo -- with early entry at 6:30 p.m. The Zoo will close at 3 p.m. August 2 for set up of WaZoo, which takes place rain or shine.  Animals are not on exhibit during the event.

Join Tampa’s Lowry Park Zoo for the 12th annual Zoo Run Run, a 5K run that winds through the Zoo and along the scenic Hillsborough River.  Children can enter a special "Fun Run" which follows the 5K. 
Walk-ups are accepted the day of the run.

Come creep around ZooBoo at Tampa’s Lowry Park Zoo -- the largest family Halloween event in Tampa Bay. It’s a ghoulish good time for all. Don’t miss the thrills, chills and family frights with attractions ranging in “scare factor” including haunted houses and trails, Zoo-wide seasonal displays and lights, music, specialty gift shop, night rides and more. Shriek Peek Preview weekend is discounted soft opening. Hours are 7-11 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, and 7-10 p.m. on other select nights. Follow ZooBoo on Facebook.

For 27 years, Tampa’s Lowry Park Zoo has served up one of the biggest, tastiest and “wildestall-inclusive food festivals in the Bay area known as Zoofari. Bring your biggest appetite to this annual fundraising feast, only at the Zoo. For one ticket price, guests can go on a sampling safari of the Bay area’s best restaurants, enjoy open bars, browse the “Art Safari” art auction, and dance to live music on multiple stages. The Rhino Club includes early entry and exclusive use of the beautiful Safari Lodge and outdoor plaza. The Zoo will close at 2 p.m. for set up of Zoofari, which takes place rain or shine.  Animals are not on exhibit during the event.
