Zootastic Family Fest in St. Pete
Saturday, February 28 • 10 a.m.-4 p.m.

It’s going to be a Zootastic day for families all around Tampa Bay! Tampa’s Lowry Park Zoo has once again partnered with Great Explorations Children’s Museum and Sunken Gardens to bring the adventure of the Zoo to St. Petersburg. Guests at the two Pinellas attractions can mingle with the Zoo’s animal ambassadors and enjoy animal shows, educational displays and hands-on activities. Advance admission is available online at www.ZootasticFamilyFest.org for $5 per guest; admission at the door the day of the event is $10 per guest.

Orangutan Egg Hunt
Friday, April 3 • 11 a.m.

Watch the Zoo’s Bornean orangutan family have some Easter fun with their own egg hunt, an annual treat for the primates and zoo guests.

This event is included with daytime Zoo admission and is free for Annual Zoo Pass members.

Party for the Planet (Enrichment Day/Earth Day)
Saturday, April 18 • 9:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Celebrate the living Earth at the Zoo with a day of family fun and discovery.  Learn new ways to connect to the environment and make a difference in conservation by spending the day with the animals who share our planet.  Enjoy a wide variety of animal enrichment activities, educational displays and exhibits throughout the Zoo. 

Enrichment Day activities are included with Zoo admission.

Día Del Niño (Day of the Child)
Sunday, April 26 • 9:30 a.m.-5 p.m.

¡Vamos al zoológico! -- Let’s go to the Zoo!  Join the Zoo for the 5th annual cultural festival Día del Niño, or Day of the Child, featuring character appearances by both “Dora the Explorer” and “Go Diego Go” from Nick Jr.™  Día del Niño is observed in many Latin American countries as a day to celebrate childhood. The Zoo’s event features a variety of family activities and entertainment including character appearances, music and on-air personalities from Univision Tampa, La Maxima, piñata enrichments for Zoo animals, bilingual narrators and signs, and a variety of vendors. 

This event is included with daytime Zoo admission and is free for Annual Zoo Pass members.

Charity Golf Classic at Carrollwood Country Club
Monday, May 4 • 10:30 a.m. Check-in & lunch, 12 p.m. Shotgun Start

Take to the course for a cause and join the Zoo for the Charity Golf Classic. The outing features a shotgun start, contests on the course, live auction, raffle drawings, and an awards dinner and banquet. Sponsorship opportunities are available.

The first of its kind in the Southeastern U.S., a dazzling display of custom-made Chinese lantern structures will illuminate Tampa’s Lowry Park Zoo this spring! Colossal by day and radiant after dark, guests will discover 30 spectacular scenes representing traditional Chinese dragons and folklore along with larger-than-life replicas of Zoo animals. Zoominations will also feature performances by Chinese acrobats and an artisan market with unique handmade crafts. Tickets will go on sale online in 2015.

Join the area’s top business and community leaders at Karamu XXVII, the Zoo’s signature annual black-tie gala, hosted by 2015 Event Chairs, Karessa Lasher and Paola Schifino. Enjoy cocktails, up-close animal encounters, seated dinner, silent and live auctions, live entertainment and dancing at this very special event.
