A red-tailed guenon was born on June 25, 2014 to mom “Njano” and dad “Rubani.” At the Zoo, red-tailed guenons live with Wolf's guenons in a social group, as they would in the wild, and spend their days climbing, jumping, swinging and foraging. Baby has already started climbing mesh within the enclosure with mom watching close by. You can tell the baby apart from the rest of the guenons because of its woolly grey fur and face spots. When it gets to be about 3 months old, the baby will begin to look like a small version of the adults.
